Motorola Inc., Mesa, AZ: MOS 21 Wafer Fab

Included more than 30,000 SF of Class 10 cleanrooms. Approximately 150,000 SF total project. Team approach allowed customer’s First Silicon 10 days ahead of schedule and in record time for a 200mm wafer fab start-up. Some tools installed in new industry benchmark timeframes. The project also involved the design and construction of a new central chilled water and steam plant, upgrade of RO/DI water plant, upgrade of the wastewater treatment plant and upgrade of campus electrical substation. Approximate project value $80 million.
